Trattoria Il Lago offers visitors to Resorts World Genting a warm and inviting dining spot along a prime walkway. With its open setting and relaxed atmosphere, diners can enjoy hearty Italian fare while taking in the vibrant energy of the surrounding area, often accompanied by the buzz of street activity and live entertainment.

With a dining capacity of 102 pax, the trattoria is warm, casual, intimate and welcoming, offering a fully ala carte menu which includes a variety of pastas, antipasti, salads and desserts prepared in as authentic a style as possible.

All meals start with an

Assortment of freshly baked Italian bread with melted cheese and marinara sauce. Classic Caesar Salad with romaine lettuce, garlic croutons, onsen tamago egg, sprinkle with anchovies, parmesan cheese, bonito flakes and miso Caesar dressing.

For chilly days, either the wild mushroom cream soup with parmesan croutons, or minestrone soup provide mix vegetable in a warm tomato broth soup.

Pizzas are a go-to for quick, satisfying meals. Il Lago offers margherita (tomato sauce, mozzarella and fontina cheese, fresh tomatoes, fresh basil and oregano), chicken curry (traditional chicken curry topped with curry sauce, curry leaves, onions & mozzarella cheese), sambal ikan bilis (spicy sambal paste, fried eggs, onions, mozzarella cheese and spicy anchovy sambal), and Hawaiian (sweet pineapple chunks, smoky ham, mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce) options.

The pasta selection includes crab carbonara with crab meat, cream sauce, tobiko and parmesan cheese; seafood aglio alio with dried chillies, fresh basil, squid, mussels and prawns; spaghetti chicken meat ball with tomato sauce, fresh basil and parmesan cheese. Diners can also opt to create their own pastas with their choice of spaghetti, fettucine, capellini or rigatoni with a choice of pomodoro (classic tomato sauce, fresh basil and parmesan cheese) or aglio olio (garlic, olive oil, dried red chillies and parmesan cheese), bolognese (ground chicken simmered with tomatoes, aromatic veggies, herbs and parmesan), and vongole (a classic Italian sauce with clams, olive oil, garlic and parsley).

Other comfort food includes mushroom risotto with mushroom, garlic, truffle oil and parmesan cheese, and baked macaroni with baby spinach, smoked chicken, cream sauce, parmesan and mozzarella cheese.

Heartier appetites will enjoy the oven-baked seabass fillet, broccoli, baby cauliflower, carrots and lemon caper sauce.

To round off the meal, choose from the freshly baked chocolate fondant with strawberry topping and vanilla ice cream, or homemade gelato in vanilla, chocolate, salted caramel, or strawberry flavour.
