Cable Car Service Advisory (August – September 2025)

Please be informed that the Awana SkyWay will be temporarily closed from 18 to 22 August 2025 to facilitate its scheduled 3rd quarterly maintenance.

During this period, the Genting SkyWay will be in operation to support guest movement. A complimentary shuttle bus service will also be provided between Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Terminal and Gohtong Jaya Level G Lobby (and vice versa). The shuttle will run from 7:00am to 11:30pm.

Special Operating Schedule for Peak Travel Periods
In addition to the usual operation of the Awana SkyWay, the Genting SkyWay will also operate from 12:00pm to 8:00pm onthe following peak dates:

• 30 & 31 August 2025 – Malaysia National Day weekend
• 5 & 6 September 2025 – Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday (Friday) and Saturday
• 13 to 16 September 2025 – In conjunction with the newly declared public holiday on 15 September and Malaysia Day

These additional operating days are intended to provide guests with a smoother and more efficient travel experience, particularly during high-traffic periods.
