Where Chou, a Taiwanese singer, is known for her soft, delicate, as well as her emotionally touching singing style. She officially debuted in 1999 with her first album “Where Chou's Best Collection”, and quickly rose to fame with the hit songs “Don’t Want To Let You Know” and a cover of Faye Wong’s “Promise.” The album sold 500,000 copies in Taiwan and over a million copies across Asia, staying at the top of various music charts for six consecutive months. These achievements established her as a “Healing Diva”, and her songs remain popular KTV staples to this day.
In 2000, Where Chou was awarded “Best New Artist” at the Singapore Golden Melody Awards. Since her debut, she has released numerous well-received albums, including “Hao Xiang Hao Hao Ai Ni”, “Ti Wen”, “Zhan Fang”, and the “Bu Bei Yi Wang De Shi Guang”, which features her renditions of classic oldies. In addition to her work as a singer, Where Chou is also active in major concerts and television variety shows. In April 2025, Where Chou released her brand-new single “Guo Ke”, and continues to accompany her fans with her music, a testament to her enduring presence in the Mandopop scene.
