Celebrated as one of the most influential composers in Indian cinema, Maestro Ilaiyaraaja, fondly known as the “Isaignani” (Musical Genius) has composed over 7,000 songs and scored for more than 1,000 films across various languages. His music, known for its seamless blend of classical, folk, and contemporary styles, continues to transcend generations and cultural boundaries. 

Ilaiyaraaja holds the distinction of being the first Indian and Asian film composer to have a full Western classical symphony performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London. His monumental “Thiruvasagam,” recorded with the orchestra, stands as a landmark in cross-cultural musical fusion.

In March 2025, Ilaiyaraaja made history once again with the debut of his first full-length Western classical symphony, “Valiant (Symphony No. 1),” performed in London by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, a remarkable milestone for the Indian music industry and for Asian composers globally.

A Night to Remember, RAAJA RHAPSODY 2.0 promises an extraordinary evening featuring Maestro Ilaiyaraaja live with his original orchestra, world-class musicians, and celebrated vocalists. Audiences will be taken on an unforgettable journey through his timeless compositions, from soulful melodies to powerful cinematic scores.

This event also marks a historic milestone as the first-ever Tamil concert to be held at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting, making it a moment of pride for the Malaysian Indian community and music lovers across Southeast Asia.

  • Ticket price is subject to a RM4 processing fee.
  • Every attendee MUST enter the hall with a ticket, including children of all ages & infants.
  • The concert starts at 6pm sharp, so please be seated by then. 
  • Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable break in the performance.

*All ticket categories are entitled to a complimentary two-way cable car ride to and from SkyAvenue Station. The complimentary cable car ticket is valid from 13 – 15.02.2026 and remains active for 72 hours from the time of the initial scan. After the 72-hour period, the ticket will automatically expire. To redeem the complimentary ride, ticket holders are required to present their valid concert ticket at the designated cable car counter located at Sky Sentral Station, the cable car station near Genting Highlands Premium Outlets. Guests are strongly advised to plan their travel schedules accordingly, as the organiser shall not be held liable for any delays or late arrivals to the concert.

  1. Each ticket includes admission for one (01) person and is valid for all ages, including children aged 5 years and above.
  2. The discounted rates published above are only available to a stipulated number of tickets and are subject to change without prior notice.
  3. Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.
  4. Tickets sold are NOT refundable or exchangeable.
  5. The Organiser shall not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage to the tickets sold.
  6. No third-party ticket collection is allowed unless an Authorisation Letter, a photocopy of the credit card that made the payment and the credit card holder's NRIC/ passport is issued by the Purchaser and presented upon ticket collection on the event day. Failing to produce any of these documents, the organiser reserves the right not to release the ticket(s).
  7. The resale of tickets at the same or any price in excess of the initial purchase price is prohibited. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel tickets that have not been purchased from rwgenting.com or other authorised points of sale listed on Resorts World Genting’s website only.
  8. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel any tickets that have been resold or used by third parties in connection with other promotions without a refund, and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
  9. Strictly no video recording and photography allowed during the show.
  10. Video cameras, cameras and tablet computers such as iPads are not allowed in the venue.
  11. Lost or damaged ticket(s) will not be entertained.

    • No running or playing inside the hall.
