The news is in: Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced that 15 September (Monday) will be declared an additional public holiday in conjunction with the 2025 Malaysia Day celebrations. This means that you will enjoy a 4-day weekend from 13 September (Saturday) to 16 September (Tuesday). Woohoo! That being said, don’t waste your time snoozing at home on the couch but instead use that time to make unforgettable and fun memories at Resorts World Genting!

14 September (Sunday)

9.00am Have breakfast at Coffee Terrace, a sumptuous buffet spread with Western favourites and authentic local delights.

10.00am Head to Genting SkyWorlds to explore one of the world’s best new theme parks as reported by CNN Travel. The outdoor theme park is built across 26 acres of land, taking its visitors on a sky-high adventure through nine movie and adventure inspired “worlds”, Eagle Mountain, Central Park, Liberty Lane, Robots Rivet Town, Andromeda Base, Ice Age, Studio Plaza, Epic and Rio. Each world features exciting rides and attractions specially curated and designed to send your imagination soaring through an immersive experience

12.00pm Have lunch at one of the theme park’s Food and Beverage offerings such as Buck’s Café, Genting SkyWorlds’ largest restaurant which offers a wide spread of Western and Asian cuisine

4.00pm Grab a snack at EXO Grab N’ Go such as clam chowder or a whole corn-on-the-cob at this themed food kiosk

6.00pm Return to the room to Rest & Relax as park closes

15 September (Monday)

8.00am Head to Resorts World Awana with a 10 minutes ride via the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car while enjoying the magnificent view of the mountain. Then, take a shuttle bus to Resorts World Awana. Alternatively, take the free shuttle service from the top

9.00am Start exploring the Awana Trail, a guided tour throughout the 130-milllion-year-old. Along the way, you will be greeted by the fascinating sights of Genting Nature Adventures’ local residents – Siamangs, various tropical birds, insects as well as other wildlife, which you can learn all about via the digital information available at our SmartForest. It’s a leisurely walking trail for you to go at your own pace

11.30am Breakfast at AYU Awana

12.45am Take the shuttle to Genting Highlands Premium Outlets
