In February 2022, Genting SkyWorlds, Resorts World Genting’s outdoor theme park opened its doors after much anticipation and excitement, especially from theme park enthusiasts. 

Located at 6,000 feet above sea level and spanning 26 acres of land, it was dubbed as one of the world's best new theme parks by CNN Travel. Here, visitors can explore nine movie and adventure inspired “worlds”, Eagle Mountain, Central Park, Liberty Lane, Robots Rivet Town, Andromeda Base, Ice Age, Studio Plaza, Epic and Rio. 

Now, more than 3 years down the road, Genting SkyWorlds (GSW) is celebrating a major milestone. On 27 November 2025, it officially welcomed its one millionth guest of 2025, proving the theme park’s growing popularity among families and visitors from across the region and beyond.

The visitors who helped to mark the special milestone were coincidentally ‘Anak Pahangs’, hailing from the very state where GSW is located. Four siblings, Zawani Zamri (28), Zuriatina Zamri (23), Adib Zamri (20) and Adlee Zamree (15) had visited GSW for a family day out. They were astonished when they were escorted to the main stage for a confetti-filled welcome, making it an unexpected and memorable event for the family.

The lucky quartet received four GSW Unlimited Passes along with a special family photography package, allowing them to capture and relive the milestone moment. The pass allows holders to experience a whole year of unlimited park visits filled with endless fun and up to three complimentary Virtual Queue reservations on every visit. This means pass holders can visit the theme park any day they like, even a whopping 365 times if they wish!

“We did not expect to be the one millionth guest. It was unexpected and we were very surprised,” said Zawani, speaking on behalf of the group. “We’re just going to use the pass and visit all games today and enjoy ourselves.”
