2. Play with snow: Snow World

If you've never touched snow before, you're not alone. As Malaysians living in a tropical climate, snowy landscapes are something we usually only see in movies and travel photos. But before you start planning an expensive winter getaway, here's the good news: you can tick this experience off your bucket list without boarding a long-haul flight. Temperatures are a bone-chilling -6 degrees, and you can go on our all-time favourite Toboggan run or sleigh ride. You can explore a replica European village, step foot into an igloo and feel what it’s like to be an Inuit. And of course, make sure to make a snowball.

3. See a superstar sing in person: Arena of Stars

We’re proud to host both local and international superstars every month, including John Legend, Shila Amzah, Rain, Jacky Cheung, and more in the past. If you’ve never attended a concert before, our Arena of Stars, which has a capacity of up to 5,000 seats, is the best place to do so. Here, you don’t have to sweat in outdoor stadiums as you can enjoy the cool mountain air and comfortable indoor seating.

4. Ride on a glass-bottomed cable car: Awana SkyWay

If you’ve never sat on a cable car before, we even have a glass floor one that offers you unobstructed views of our gorgeous rainforest and even the KL city skyline in the distance. Plus, our state-of-the-art system was manufactured by the world-renowned company Leitner, and it takes you from the mid-hill area to the top in just about 10 minutes.

5. Go on a zipline: Eagle Landing Zipline

Have a good head for heights? Make sure to try out flying fox or zipline activity which will ave you strapped into a harness and glide down a suspended cable. This will give you a breathtaking aerial view of our Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park, from four floors up, 200 metres higher above everyone else. You’ll also be travelling at blazing speeds of 25km/hr which will make you the envy of everyone below.

6. Step into the world’s luckiest room: Ripley’s Adventureland

If the year isn’t going your way, and you need a little luck, head over to Ripley’s Adventureland which includes the ‘world’s luckiest room’. You can touch the ‘Million Dollar Buddha’, made of shredded bills and encounter other objects of charms and fortunes. Plus, there are over 300 artefacts and amazing oddities of things you’ve probably never dreamed of.

7. Go On A Night Safari: Genting Nature Adventures

If you want to get up close with nature within our 130-million-year-old rainforest and see some animals along the way, head on our Guided Night Safari. If you’re lucky, you’ll spot endangered siamangs, dusky leaf monkeys, serows, and black panthers. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled.

8. Ride on a helicopter

We don’t know about you, but we’ve personally only seen helicopters whirring away in the distance. However, if you’ve always wanted to experience what it’s like for yourself, we’re happy to share that we recently introduced our very own helicopter service that will have you arriving at the resort like a VIP.

• Flight route from Subang Airport to Resorts World Genting (or vice versa)
