Read on to see what desserts and drinks you should keep an eye out for:

Fried Chicken Ice Cream | Swensen’s

event-rwg

Most of us (millennials and older) probably grew up eating Swensen’s with its classic ice cream parlour designs.

But the outlet at First World Plaza at the entrance of Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park is super cool and its design draws inspiration from a fictional spacecraft traveling at warp speed! There is a seating area upstairs with a bird’s eye view of the ginormous LED screens as people glide above on the flying fox. Plus, there is a scrumptious ice cream that looks like a fried chicken drumstick (chocolate covered cookie, caramelised white chocolate coating and crunchy corn flakes as toppings) that you have to try.

Milkshakes | Five Guys

event-rwg

It’s time to shake it off, shake it off (sings like Taylor Swift). We kid, but Five Guys is an incredible place to get some milkshakes! They have a customisable menu of creamy, hand-spun shakes made with a vanilla base and various mix-ins including vanilla, chocolate, strawberries, bananas, oreos, malted milk, peanut butter, and salted caramel! The possibilities are up to you!

Cendol | Jom Makan Street Food

event-rwg

If you’re looking for a local delight, try our cendol which comprises pandan-flavoured green rice flour jelly, coconut milk, red beans, and palm sugar syrup. Sluuuurp!

Kurtos Rolls & Ice Cream | Rollney

Try their signature product, Kurtos Ice Cream, a delightful fusion of warm kurtos served with irresistibly creamy soft-serve ice cream. Kurtos can be best explained as a cinnamon roll of sorts. It is traditionally called kürtőskalács, the official dessert of Hungary! This delectable Hungarian Sweet Bread is freshly baked to order with a crispy crunchy outside and a light fluffy dough inside. Our mouths are watering just thinking of it!

Shaker Fries | Happy Potato

event-rwg

You know how sometimes McDonald’s has flavoured powder that comes with their fries and it makes for an amazing combination called Shaker fries? It’s a seasonal snack but at Happy Potato, you can get it year round. Plus, it is proudly a Sabahan brand! Choose from flavours like sour cream, cheese, seaweed, corn cheese, hot & spicy, barbeque, tomato, and tom yam. We personally love the barbeque one!

Brown Sugar Sweet Pancake (Hotteok) | Paris Baguette

There’s no need to go to South Korea because one of their most famous bakeries is located right here in SkyAvenue! Their hotteok is a chewy flat bread stuffed with brown sugar nuts. It’s really great, trust us!

Traditional Chinese Desserts | Lol Soon Kee Desserts

event-rwg

Known for its authentic traditional Chinese desserts, this beloved spot offers time-honoured recipes that bring warmth at the chilly highlands! From silky smooth tau fu fah (soybean pudding) to fragrant black sesame soup, cooling cheng teng, and chewy tong yue n(glutinous rice balls), each dessert delivers some Chinese culinary heritage in a bowl!

Affogato| Bakery

event-rwg

Head over to our Bakery at the Lobby of Genting Grand to have a taste of our Affogato,  a traditional Italian coffee-dessert where hot espresso is poured over gelato or ice cream. It’s simple yet oh-so-good! At the same time, enjoy the crisp mountain air at our alfresco seating area.

Soybean Desserts | Mr Bean

event-rwg

Looking for something a little less indulgent which is smooth, creamy and 100% plant-based? Get a soy ice cream! They also serve Japanese pancakes which are golden on the outside, and soft and airy on the inside. Try flavours like Azuki Red Bean, Kaya Cheese, and Hazelnut Royale!

Bonus: Genting SkyWorlds
For those of you who are planning a trip to our outdoor theme park Genting SkyWorlds, there are some decadent treats to try there too!

Mub & Grub's BIG Bites

event-rwg

Mub and Grub's food joint, inventively made from Professor Bomba’s copper watering can (from the animated feature film Epic), offers some of the tastiest treats. Get waffles to go complete with ice cream and fruits.

Crash and Eddie's Frozen Treats

event-rwg

A frozen paradise of sweet treats featuring an assortment of ice creams, tropical snow ice and the much-loved local Ais Kacang.

Happy snacking!
