Planning your maiden adventure to Genting SkyWorlds? Buckle up because you’re about to step into a theme park that packs movie magic, adrenaline rushes, photo ops in one chilly mountaintop escape. It always pays to plan ahead so here’s everything you’llwant to know before stepping foot on our magnificent grounds:

Check The Dates Before Going

Do take note of our opening hours and that we are CLOSED on Tuesdays (except public holidays and school holidays). You can view our seasonal chart here. We are open daily from 10am to 6pm so plan your visit accordingly.

Buy Your Tickets Ahead of Time

There are a limited number of tickets available each day to reduce crowds on arrival. Please purchase your tickets online in advance to avoid disappointment. There are also special online deals to take advantage of. Our tickets are only priced at RM60 (NP: RM168) online for Malaysians, RM120 (NP:RM198) for non-Malaysians until 31 December 2025. These tickets must be purchased one day before visiting the park.

Plus, take note that Pahang Citizens can enjoy a walk-in only offer of RM36 per person (NP: RM84).

I know, I know some of us are sick of downloading apps but we promise that this one will make your experience smooth sailing. It’s like having a theme-park PA who doesn’t judge you for prioritising snack breaks. Here’s what you can do with the app:

● You can purchase your tickets on the app
● You can make reservations for selected rides and attractions – even before you enter the park. All you need to do is to link your tickets with our mobile app and start making Virtual Queue (VQ) reservations.
● It allows you to check ride wait times
● You can even generate an itinerary based on your preferences to optimise your park experience.
● See park hours, schedules, accessibility information and descriptions for attractions, dining and more
● Explore the park using the detailed map view

We Don’t Accept Cash

Most of you rarely use cash anymore, but we’re letting you know just in case that we’re a cashless theme park.  We accept these different forms of contactless payment such as our own GeM (Resorts World Genting’s e-Wallet), Debit and Credit Cards, QR Pay, EWallet and Genting Points.

Dress For The Weather

Genting SkyWorlds has a spring-like subtropical highland climate where temperatures could reach approximately 22°C (72 °F) during the day, and drop to approximately 12°C (54°F) during the night. This is what we recommend you to wear (but it doesn’t mean you can’t look good for the ‘Gram):

● T-shirts (both long- and short-sleeved)
● Light sweater/jacket
● Lightweight rain jacket (it can rain sometimes)
● Jeans or long pants
● Closed-toe shoes or sturdy-soled walking shoes
