Michelin Magic Series: 5-course wine pairing dinner


Go Chile! Experience Resorts World Genting’s new Chilean house wines at a specially curated wine launch dinner on 19 and 20 June 2024 at Genting Rouge, Genting Grand. Priced at RM688 nett, the dinners will feature Peruvian classics such as aji Amarillo salad with lobster, ceviche Nikkei (marinated tuna belly), grilled octopus, and Wagyu beef rib eye paired with the three new wines. 

Resorts World Genting’s house red wine, the Gran Araucano is the ultimate Great Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon which has been named the Best Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile by Wines Of Chile three times. Powerful on the palate, coated with concentrated tannins, the wine’s finish is very long, full-flavoured and complex.

The Humo Blanco Lolol Valley Chardonnay is Resorts World Genting’s house white wine, selected for its impeccable balance and mineral character, with lemony fruit with a nutty finish. The sparkling wine option, Une, is a delightful rose made with 100% Pinot Noir.The three wines will be served with the Peruvian dinner with an Asian twist designed by Peruvian chef Daniel Chavez who is based in Singapore. 

Chavez is the founder and owner of CANCHITA Peruvian Cuisine, along with his wife Tamara. The Peruvian restaurant, which opened in 2021 is one of Singapore’s culinary destinations, alongside the couple’s  TINTO Spanish restaurant in Dempsey Hill. 

Asia Export Director for Domaines Francois Lurton, Jonathan Dahan will be present at the dinner to speak about the wines selected by Resort World Genting, as well as the vineyard and terroir of Hacienda Araucano.
