The Olive at Genting Grand Hotel, Resorts World Genting, has been redesigned to reflect elements from the cuisines it espouses, resulting in fabric motifs taken from traditional batik designs and patterned tile from Malaysian heritage and line drawings depicting places where the food it serves was once sold.

The open kitchen with a show window also allows diners a peek into the preparation of the sometimes labour-intensive dishes. One private dining room, also embellished with batik elements and a charmingly esoteric display of serving ware and implements, allows the savouring of flavours from days of old in plush privacy, with the added exclusivity of curated menus.

As part of its transformative approach to cuisine, The Olive now offers a limited selection of international cuisine of African, South American and European heritage.

The Olive is a muslim-friendly restaurant with a seating capacity of 85 persons.
