• Tea Talk with Mr Paul Baker & Ms Koh Poy Yong

On Jul 18, Mr Paul Baker, Deputy Chief Operating Officer returned for another Tea Talk session. This time, however, he was joined by Ms Koh Poy Yong, Chief Finance Officer. As a twist on the usual Tea Talks and as requested in one of earlier feedbacks, this Tea Talk session was held in Wisma Genting.

Seeing that this was the first time a session was held in Wisma Genting, Mr Paul and Ms Koh saw a large amount of people who stopped by to voice their concerns. 31 people from the Finance, Legal, Sales and National Marketing departments participated in the Tea Talk that afternoon. Some of the feedback presented that day included:

    • Request to review the claim amount for non-panel clincs
    • Air-conditioning isn’t available on weekends
    • Concerns about the promotion structure for non-ICAEW graduates and those without professional paper qualification
    • Inconsistencies in the annual leave structure for resort and Wisma Genting employees
    • Casual Fridays to allow employees the opportunity to dress down on Fridays
    • Request for salary increments for outstation employees
    • Lack of pantries on the 17th and 23rd floors.
