For May’s edition of the Tea Talk programme, Dato’ Edward Holloway, Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations was the senior management representative who lent his ears to staff members. 11 people from different departments within the resort met up with Dato’ Holloway at Meeting Point to voice their opinions and feedback about their day-to-day issues.

Staff members from hotel and support services like housekeeping and human resources shared their concerns, including:

    • The First World Hotel check-in kiosks should be placed at a brighter and safer location
    • The lack of consistency in job promotion
    • More manpower in the RSC8 café
    • Request to be notified earlier about customer vouchers or other promotions going on at Genting’s outlets so that executives can avoid going to those outlets
