Cooking has always been a family affair for Chef Gong Ling Qin. Born in Shandong, China, Chef Gong's parents who are noodle connoisseurs themselves, taught her at a tender age to appreciate light, delicate food, and showed her how to make noodles and dumplings that led her to pursue a career in the culinary arts.

One of Chef Gong's passions are "Szechwan Dumplings, little "pouches" filled with chopped chicken and served with a spicy cilantro sauce that titillates the taste buds with instant fresh flavours that complements the chicken well.

Chef Gong has received two silver medals in the 1994 and 2000 Culinary Competitions held in Shandong, China. She will continue to explore innovative ways of preparing dumplings and noodles for the food and catering industry.
